Caring for Your Memorial

Caring for Your Memorial

Your Fpetlove creation is a precious work of art, designed to be a lasting tribute. With a little gentle care, your memorial will remain a beautiful and comforting presence for years to come.

Displaying Your Memorial

  • A Place of Honor: Find a special place in your home away from direct sunlight, as prolonged exposure can cause the natural wool fibers to fade over time.

  • For Display Only: Your memorial is a delicate art sculpture, not a toy. To preserve its intricate details, please handle it with care and place it out of reach of children and pets.

  • Added Protection (Recommended): For ultimate protection against dust and accidents, displaying your sculpture inside a glass cloche or shadow box is a wonderful option.

Gentle Cleaning & Handling

  • Clean Hands, Warm Heart: When you wish to handle your memorial, it’s best to do so with clean, dry hands to prevent the transfer of natural oils.

  • Dusting: To remove dust, a gentle puff of air from a distance or a hairdryer on the cool, lowest setting is all that is needed. Please avoid using water, damp cloths, or adhesive tapes for cleaning.

  • Grooming: If any fibers become slightly displaced, you can use a clean, large needle to gently guide them back into place. Please avoid using standard combs or brushes, as they can pull at the delicate wool.

  • Trimming: Occasionally, a stray fiber may appear. If so, you may carefully trim it with a small pair of sharp scissors. Please do not pull on the fibers.
